It has also shown that in winter it helps dispersethe sticky mucus during cold and flu season and lastly it also influences neurotransmitters that enhance mood regulation e.g., you will feel happier.<\/p><p>Some studies have shown that ginger increases serotonin levels and helps reduce anxiety, try drinking a hot lemon ginger tea instead of a cup of coffee in the morning and see how your day will go.<\/p><p>Ginger is also commonly used as the active ingredient in most travel sickness tablets as it helps settle the stomach and you can even grow your own ginger by breaking it off, letting it dry and putting in the soil giving you ginger for a couple of days.<\/p><p>Your next shopping trip should include ginger.
